Since time began wolves have had the power to provoke fear yet mystify and enchant us. One of the ultimate symbols of freedom and power. Today they are endangered and this proud creature needs our help to survive. Much like native americans they have been forced from their ancient lands, forced to migrate to ever decreasing pockets of land. They are have been shot, trapped and killed or taken from their homeland for fighting for life in the only way they know how.
Projects are underway to reintroduce wolf packs back into some of their ancient lands but are met with critisizm of ranchers and some biologists. The projects however thus far are proving successful. Can we really afford to lose this noble creature forever? Can we afford to lose any of the creatures that teeter on the brink of extinction everyday? Today the wolves- tomorrow may be our turn. Remember, extinction is forever!
