Common Names: Ivy
Description: These vine-like foliage plants are available in several shades
of green, some with white or yellowish variegation. Leaf shapes vary with cultivars
from pointed to almost round and range from 2 to 4 inches long. Branches may
produce leaves of a different shade of color than the rest of the plant. Spherical,
conical, double-sphered and novelty-formed topiaries also are available.
Special care: Provide bright light and temperatures of 60 to 70 F/16 to 21 C.
Ivies live several years with proper care. Remove dead leaves. Check soil for
moisture and drench plants if soil is dry. Do not allow ivies to dry because
severe dryness will kill them. Remove withered leaves.
