White Silkies

I have been going through a crisis in this pen due to selling off too many of the good babies last year. My main breeders are getting older now and more subject to age related problems. I have at least a dozen white babies in this pen being cared for by the lead rooster (he's such a good boy). 2009 babies are growing out beautifully, the only real problem I detect is we are having alot of toes joined within a range between joined just at the bottom to halfway up. I am extremely picky and would like to see some actual air space between the base of the toes. I'll be working with this.

Newest Pics taken 10-16-08 Here is the group. All but two of these (and the rooster) are promising youngsters growing out for possible breeders in this pen.

This beatiful little girls is from Carina Moncrief of ChickEdee Farm. I am thinking she will do well bred into the hadden babies.

Silkie Pullet 2008

This is a young 2008 Pullet that is on the typical side of what I produce.
These heavily feathered feet are the tendency on most of my birds and are my ultimate goal on every bird I produce.
