Handcrafted Brower Tophatch Insulation Blanket

$40.00 + $10.00 S&H

Stock made up in both colors and ready to go now

These are handmade insulation blankets for the Brower Tophatch Incubator. I find this to be a great incubator but being plastic it is very subject
to surrounding temperature changes. To help fix this and help this incubator be all it can be I use an insulation blanket to preserve a steadier heat
within the incubator. This has worked great for me with my incubators kept in full view in my kitchen under normal household temps. A blanket can only do so much though, if you have extreme temp changes like in a garage or shed I don't know how well they would do though they would certianly help. Brower DOES sell an insulation blanket but it seems to be made out of the plastic silver shiny material that internal computer parts are packed in to prevent electrostatic energy from damaging them with some kind of bubble wrap inside....YUCK! That's not very nice to look at and they want $30 + shipping and handling for that.

These blankets are handmade out of one of several chicken fabrics I find locally (the light print pictured is my personal favorite). It fastens on the incubator by wrapping around and fastening with both a velcro strip and cords to tie (much like on a pair of sweat pants) on top and bottom. The blanket is designed to go just up to where the clear top sits on top of the incubator and to curve slightly around the bottom edge. It is easy on and easy off when need be. Not only does it serve a practical purpose, it also is very nice looking for an incubator that you maintain in your house. The one shown has not yet been fitted with it's black cord top and bottom which come out top and bottom of the pictured velcro.

I do not stock a large supply of these blankets most of the time but I may or may not have some readay made, otherwise I make them up as I get requests for them so please allow at least 2 weeks if I don't have any ready made for me to work in the time and energy to make these blankets among my other responsibilities. I accept Paypal, Personal Check or Money Order.
